LRAD Corporation, the world’s leading provider of acoustic hailing devices (AHD) and advanced mass notification systems (MNS), and Two-Time 2017 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Award Winner for Best Long Range Acoustic Hailing System & Best Mass Notification/Siren System, has received a $1.0 Million LRAD 500X-RE systems and accessories order for the U.S. Air Force.
The order is scheduled to ship in the Company’s second fiscal quarter ending March 31, 2017.
“When combined with the Army, National Guard, Navy and Marine Corps orders announced earlier this year, this record Air Force order further enhances LRAD’s standing as the U.S. Military’s AHD of choice,” commented Richard S. Danforth, Chief Executive Officer of LRAD Corporation.
“The LRAD 500X-RE systems and accessories will be utilized by USAF Security Forces for law enforcement, entry control points and perimeter security at domestic and international Air Force bases.”
Accessories in the order include LRAD portable power packs, wireless systems and mounting options.
