CACI Award to Provide Background Investigations for OPM (Learn More)

CACI International has been awarded a prime position on a multiple-award IDIQ contract to provide background investigation fieldwork services to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

The five-year contract represents continuing work for CACI’s Investigation and Litigation Support market area and extends CACI’s investigative services support for OPM that began in 2004.

OPM’s Federal Investigative Services (OPM-NBIB) provides approximately 95 percent of the government’s background investigations for more than 100 federal agencies to use as the basis for suitability and security clearance determinations for individuals responsible for protecting the nation’s sensitive and classified information.

Under this contract, CACI will continue to provide quality background investigation services to OPM, increasing the agency’s capacity to conduct investigations by hiring and training fully qualified and credentialed investigators.
