Iris ID & Telaeris Launch Mobile Identity Authentication Solution

Iris ID's multimodal device, now combined with XPressEntry from Telaeris, allows security integrators and end users to easily integrate mobile iris identification technology into their existing physical access control infrastructure.

Iris ID, a leading global provider of iris recognition technology, and a 2018 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards Winner, are now offering its award-winning multimode iCAM M300 handheld biometric platform with gateless access control, time and attendance and employee mustering for both commercial and government markets.

These new functions are made possible with embedded XPressEntry software from Telaeris, a leading provider of real-time personnel tracking solutions.

Additionally, using Iris ID’s Iris Access EAC software, the iCAM M300 continues to provide an ideal portable biometric enrollment and identification solution for law enforcement, border control and national ID programs, and all from the convenience of an Android mobile device.

Users of the iCAM M300 can extend their door-mounted iris readers using a cloud-based mobile server that automatically syncs all users, access and activity data.

“The addition of the Telaeris XPressEntry software enables us to add important new functions for our commercial and government customers,” explained Mohammed Murad, vice president global sales and business development, Iris ID.

“The iCAM M300 is now ideal for virtually any use requiring mobile identity authentication.”

The iCAM M300 has embedded cameras for simultaneous capture of both iris and facial modes.

An optional snap-on module provides for an FBI-compliant 500DPI, single fingerprint collection.

Also included are magstripe and contactless card support, as well as an MRZ reader to verify ePassports.

Communications protocols include NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G LTE.
