Konica Minolta Business Solutions, a leader in delivering world-class business transformation solutions and technologies, and a Multi-Award Winner in the Annual ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards Program for Two Consecutive Years, is pleased to announce Four of their Products have been selected as Finalists in the 2019 ‘ASTORS’ Awards Program.
The Four Product Finalists are CAC/PIV, SIPRnet, bitdefender and bizhub SECURE ALERT.
bizhub SECURE Alert is the industry’s only low cost, all-inclusive way to notify organizations when they’ve had a security breach at their multifunction printer (MFP) due to unauthorized usage.
bizhub SECURE Alert is powered by DocRecord, an application that automatically processes Konica Minolta MFP activity records.
This MFP activity record, Image Log Transfer File (ILTF), is an inherent part of nearly all of Konica Minolta MFPs – both A3 and A4 models.
The only remaining MFP security vulnerability that is not addressed by most MFP companies is unauthorized usage at the MFP by an authorized user.
This leaves customers vulnerable to sensitive documents being printed, copied, scanned, emailed, and faxed. Organizations don’t know when a data or document breach occurs.
Organizations have no way of knowing who used the MFP for what and when and this leaves organizations potentially legally and financially liable for these data breaches that occur at their MFPs.
(Of all the resources in today’s business and professional world, your data can be the most valuable – and also the most vulnerable. That’s why Konica Minolta offers lockdown protection with bizhub® SECURE: a set of enhanced password and data security measures to give your bizhub MFP an extra level of security. Data Breaches at the MFP may expose an organization’s important trade secrets and intellectual property information as well as customer, patient, and employee data and personally identifiable information (PII).
Only Konica Minolta Solves this Problem.

How it Works
bizhub SECURE Alert is powered by DocRecord (v6.5+).
It automatically processes the MFP activity record.
This activity record, Image Log Transfer File (ILTF), is an inherent part of nearly all Konica Minolta A3 & A4 MFPs.
The ILTF records all user MFP activity: copies, prints, scans, emails, and faxes.
The ILTF provides a data file and a PDF of the document.
This data set is then provided to DocRecord which OCRs (optical character recognition) the documents and then automatically categorizes and archives them.
DocRecord provides a full-management interface for bizhub SECURE Alert.
