Minerva Secures $7.5M in Series A Funding Led by Amplify Partners

Minerva, a provider of endpoint security solutions, have closed a $7.5 million Series A funding round led by Amplify Partners.

Minerva will leverage this funding to accelerate adoption and deployment of its Anti-Evasion Platform, which helps strengthen endpoint security to prevent unknown threats that are designed to evade existing defenses.

The investment will also support immediate growth opportunities in global sales and marketing efforts. Additional investors that participated in this funding round include StageOne Ventures and Webb Investment Network.

“We’re excited to support Minerva who has created a truly unique approach to endpoint security,” said Mike Dauber, General Partner, Amplify Partners.

“Through this investment, Minerva is well positioned to redefine how enterprises secure their endpoints, while significantly improving the efficacy of their existing security investments.”

Despite sustained investments in security solutions, endpoints are still being infected with advanced malware.

Minerva brings a new, unique approach to endpoint security by controlling the way malicious software perceives its reality, addressing a critical gap in how enterprises defend against evasive threats.

The company is focused on automatically blocking unknown, stealthy threats that are designed to stay under the radar of existing defenses.

Instead of attempting to seek and identify malware, Minerva’s Anti-Evasion Platform creates a virtual reality on the endpoint that causes malware to disarm itself.

By manipulating how malware perceives its environment, Minerva turns the strength of evasive malware into a weakness before any damage is done.

“We are thrilled to have Amplify Partners, StageOne Ventures and Webb Investment Network on board to help move Minerva into the forefront of endpoint security,” said Eddy Bobritsky, Co-Founder and CEO of Minerva.

“At Minerva, we provide a critical layer to endpoint security, which if not implemented, leaves many organizations vulnerable.”

“Endpoint defenses that attempt to detect malice by extrapolating from previously-seen patterns are subject to evasion.”

“We are focused on preventing threats that are designed to evade existing defenses without attempting to seek and identify malware, introducing unique capabilities to significantly strengthen the endpoint’s security posture.”

“Through this investment, we will continue to develop solutions that redefine endpoint prevention and help enterprises maximize the value of their security existing tools.”

Minerva allows IT security teams to strengthen endpoint defenses without taking on the operational challenges often associated with deploying and maintaining security solutions.

Customers can rapidly roll out Minerva’s Anti-Evasion Platform and benefit from an ultra-light agent that doesn’t affect endpoint performance.

With this approach, Minerva is helping to take the burden away from already scarce security resources that are overwhelmed with alerts and false positives.

Minerva blocks the attack upfront without any impact on the business user or limiting its day-to-day business activities.

Minerva is an innovative endpoint security solution provider that protects enterprises from today’s stealthiest attacks without the need to detect threats first, all before any damage has been done.

Minerva Anti-Evasion Platform blocks unknown threats designed to evade existing defenses by creating a virtual reality that controls how malware perceives its environment.

Without relying on signatures, models or behavioral patterns, Minerva’s solution causes malware to disarm itself, thwarting it before the need to engage costly security resources.

Headquartered in Petach Tikva, Israel, and with offices in New York and Atlanta, Minerva boost customers’ existing defenses without the need to embark upon a costly and risky overhaul of their entire endpoint security architecture.
