ATI Systems, has installed a new Wide- Area Mass Notification Warning System using redundant communication, UHF radio frequency and IP communication to provide emergency communication for the New Jersey State Police Division Headquarters and Regional Operations Intelligence Center (NJ ROIC), in West Trenton, NJ.
The mission of the New Jersey State Police Regional Operations Intelligence Center (NJROIC) is to interface with the New Jersey law enforcement community, and other law enforcement and homeland security agencies.
By being a primary point of contact for collection, evaluation, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence data and criminal background information in a timely and effective manner in order to detect and/or prevent criminal or terrorist activity, and to solve crimes.

The new Wide-Area Mass Notification System is capable of immediately alerting employees and visitors in real time of an emergency situation in such as a major security threat, breach, or severe weather event.
A major requirement of the New Jersey State Police was the ability to quickly activate the emergency notification system remotely from multiple locations across the New Jersey State Police Division Headquarters facility, along with the ability to activate and monitor the entire Wide – Area Mass Notification System from the NJ ROIC Intelligence Watch & Warning Operations Control Center.

ATI supplied and Pro-Tec Systems Inc. of Somerset NJ installed and commissioned the new Wide- Area Mass Notification Warning System that covers the New Jersey State Police Division Headquarters and Regional Operations Intelligence Center, NJ ROIC, in case of an emergency or severe event.
ATI’s Control Station Graphic User Interface and multiple 1600-watt High Powered Speaker Stations (HPSS16) were installed to provide audible tones and voice announcements.
The system is activated by various wired and wireless initiation devices and locations that remain classified.
The system is capable of producing audible tones, prerecorded messages, and live PA, as well as providing real-time constant readiness monitoring of all the field equipment giving the stakeholders a state-of-the-art survivable, expandable and supervised security solution.
