Blackline Safety, a global leader in connected safety technology has introduced the newest line of cloud-enabled G7 wearable safety devices, to help people to work smarter and safer by providing unprecedented connectivity across any workplace.
The easily configurable G7 wearables – small, wireless devices worn like a cell phone – accurately detect gas leaks, falls and other health events in all types of business environments, from lone workers in the field to industrial workers.
They can also be used for contact tracing purposes or to determine how often workers travel through high-risk areas.
The devices operate on available cellular, with optional satellite connectivity, and deploy in minutes, straight out of the box.
Workers are instantly alerted to emergency situations to facilitate streamlined evacuation and emergency response procedures, and if workers themselves are harmed or injured, their location is pinpointed so emergency responders know exactly where to go and what conditions to expect.

G7 wearables are backed by state-of-the-art cloud-based software solutions to enable centralized safety monitoring from any Internet-connected smartphone, tablet or computer.
From the moment devices are connected to a network, they begin logging time and location-stamped data for easy safety reporting and better decision making.
Optional add-on services include 24/7 live monitoring by Blackline Safety’s Safety Operations Center and data science consulting services to help companies take their data analysis to the next level, identifying the right resources and strategies to keep their employees safe and allowing them to move from reactive to proactive safety practices.

Select Engineering Services Takes Two in 2021 ‘ASTORS’ Awards Program
American Security Today’s Annual ‘ASTORS’ Awards is the preeminent U.S. Homeland Security Awards Program, and now in its Sixth Year, continues to recognize industry leaders of Physical and Border Security, Cybersecurity, Emergency Preparedness – Management and Response, Law Enforcement, First Responders, as well as federal, state and municipal government agencies in the acknowledgment of their outstanding efforts to Keep our Nation Secure.
Select Engineering Services (First of Two)
Best Personal/ Protective Equipment Product
The Automatic Injury Detection (AID) system provides help in seconds when the sensing panel has been pierced by a bullet, knife or shrapnel.
When an AID flexible mylar sensor panels (front & back, comfortably inserted into the wearer’s bulletproof vest) is pierced by either a bullet, knife or shrapnel from an IED, the communications module will sense the break in the circuit and automatically sends an emergency alert with GPS location to phone, radio or communication system.
The automated and instant emergency alerts help save lives by improving the response from medics and backup personnel to stop, apprehend or contain the attacker, even when the officer is incapacitated.
Select Engineering Services (Second of Two)
Best Alert Notification System
The Personal Emergency Transmitter (PET), is a wearable device that automatically sends alert text messages, with your personal info and a link to your GPS location in the event of an emergency.
The PET system provides a covert method to summon help when you are faced with a dangerous situation and it’s impossible to call help without alerting your attacker (i.e. reaching for your cell phone).
The PET system allows you to avoid escalating a potentially dangerous confrontation and have backup on the way in seconds.
