Notre Dame’s First Responders Select the HyperSpike HS-10

Ultra Electronics USSI today announces that it has received an order for multiple HS-10 portable loud speakers from The University of Notre Dame.

The HS-10 systems were chosen by the university because of their capability to broadcast intelligible voice commands at great distances with exceptional clarity that traditional bullhorns or megaphones cannot meet.

The HS-10 far surpasses the performance of traditional megaphones, bullhorns, and commercial speakers on the market in both communication distance and voice clarity.

By utilizing the HS-10, university first responders can deliver intelligible and informative voice commands during public events or emergency situations.

The University of Notre Dame’s first responders will also have full functionality of the HS-10 utilizing the new HyperSpike™ smartphone application via wired or Bluetooth connectivity.

With its optional universal magnetic mount, the HS-10 can be mounted on a vehicle and be operated from within the vehicle, using the HyperSpike® mobile application. This allows the operator the ability to play the alert tone, pre-recorded voice messages, or select a message from the file library.

“We are very excited to receive this order from such a prestigious university,” said James Martzall, HyperSpike Account Manager.

“First responders, campus law enforcement, and firefighters can now afford a more powerful and portable loud speaker to help during emergency situations and public events.”
