Aeroturn has been leading the way in perimeter protection solutions for almost two decades, and continues to design, manufacture and install unique, Zero-Maintenance standard and custom turnstile products, in the company's Connecticut headquarters, which are 100% manufactured in the US.

Government facilities, college and educational campuses, industrial sites, to commercial properties and private residences – No sector is immune to security breaches.

Aeroturn LLC, a Winner in the 2018 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards Programhas been leading the way  in addressing these threats with perimeter protection solutions for almost two decades, designing, manufacturing and installing unique, Zero-Maintenance standard and custom turnstile products, in the company’s Connecticut headquarters; 100% Made in the USA.

It all started with a group of engineers who were passionate about keeping products manufactured in the US, and improving security measures across the country.

Those engineers worked together in the 1980’s designing products for other manufacturers, when, following a few discussions on collaborating, designing and earning patents for turnstile products; Aeroturn LLC was formed in the 1990’s and continues to raise the bar on quality.

At that time, the company built more than 3,000 quality turnstiles as a contract manufacturer for customers/end users.

Aeroturn incorporated in 2001 and then embarked on invention and testing, building a stellar reputation in the industry.

When it comes to quality perimeter protection products and engineering at its finest, Aeroturn is at the top of its game today.

Aeroturn’s first rotary and linear turnstiles were installed in 2004, and it has built a high-profile customer list that includes the White House, the Uniformed Division of the U.S. Secret Service, the U.S. Treasury Department, Harvard University Library System and the renovation of the Baker Library, which was built in the 1800s.

To top it off, Aeroturn has never had a single lane replacement due to malfunction or obsolescence and has kept a 100 percent customer retention rate over the last 15 years.

With about 35-40 percent of their time spent in the federal government space, and the rest spent in the Class-A tenant space, biopharmaceuticals, school campuses and financial institutions; Aeroturn has done it all.

The company invests heavily in engineering and continues to innovate new turnstile solutions like the new Portal Dual Barrier Man-Trap Turnstile which was developed due to end users requesting higher throughput, while maintaining the highest level of security for locations requiring extreme vetting of personnel such as government agencies.

The new Portal Dual Barrier Man-Trap Turnstile recently won a 2018 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Award by American Security Today for perimeter protection at the ISC East show in NYC.
