US Marshals Offer Reward in Hunt for King George County Cold Case Fugitive

The U.S. Marshals Service is seeking the public’s help in locating Torrain Johnson.

Johnson, 38, has been wanted by the King George County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia since July 2009 for his failure to appear for court proceedings, stemming from felony drug charges of possession of controlled substances and possession with intent to manufacture drugs.

The King George County Sheriffs requested the assistance of USMS investigators in early May 2016.

Investigators believe that Johnson may be in one of the following cities of Virginia and Maryland: Fredericksburg (VA), King George (VA), Newburg (MD), LaPlata (MD) or Fort Washington (MD).

A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading directly to this fugitive’s arrest.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest U.S. Marshals office or the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-877-WANTED-2, or email: usms.wanted@usdoj.gov.
