$10,000 FBI Reward for Info in Annapolis Murder Investigation

The FBI in Annapolis and the Annapolis Police Department are asking for the public’s help in solving the murder of 25-year old Charles Edward Carroll, Jr., who was shot and killed in the 900 block of Royal Street in Annapolis, Maryland on July 28, 2016.

Anyone with information leading to an arrest in the case could receive a reward of up to $10,000.

Carroll, who was 25 years old and went by “Butta,” was found in a vehicle that crashed into a residential building.

He died later at the hospital. Carroll was from Baltimore but was known to frequent the community of Bywater and Newtowne.

Carroll’s homicide is being investigated jointly by the FBI Annapolis Resident Agency and the Annapolis Police Department.

The FBI is asking anyone with information to come forward; you could receive a reward of up to $10,000 leading to an arrest in the case.

DETAILS:

On July 28, 2016, around 9:30 p.m. officers from the Annapolis Police Department responded to the 900 block of Royal Street in Annapolis, Maryland, for the report of shots fired and a vehicle crashing into a dwelling.

Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle that had crashed into a residential building. Carroll was found shot inside the vehicle. He was later pronounced deceased at the Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Carroll was a 25-year-old man from Baltimore, Maryland.
