On Wednesday at about 10:00pm, The Olivia Police Department in Minnesota responded to a report of a missing person from the area of 1000 block of Maple Ave West.
The Olivia Police Department says in a news release that an adult male had left his residence with the aid of his walker and was missing. A quick search of the immediate area did not produce any results.
Mutual aid was requested to assist the Olivia Police Department. Assisting at the scene was the Renville County Sheriff’s Office including K-9 officer Duke, Minnesota State Patrol, Danube, Renville and Buffalo Lake Police Departments.
The Olivia Fire Department was called out to assist in facilitating an extensive ground search.
The CodeRED notification system in place for the Olivia residents was utilized asking for residents in the immediate area to assist in checking their property, including the sheds and garages, for the missing individual.

The subject was located shortly after midnight and was taken to Renville County Hospital to be checked out for any possible injuries.
