LRAD Corporation, Two-Time Winner of the 2016 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards Program, including Top Honors for Best Long Range Acoustic Hailing System, and a Finalist in the 2017 ‘ASTORS’ Awards, has received acoustic hailing devices (AHD) orders for the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army totaling $870,000.
The follow-on Marine Corps order is comprised of LRAD 450XL systems and vehicle mounts that will be used for training Allied Forces in perimeter and convoy security and incident response in the Middle East.

The second order is a combination of small, medium and large LRAD systems, mounts and accessories that will be used by deployed Army forces in the Asia-Pacific region.
Both orders are scheduled to ship in the Company’s current fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2017.
