Alice DiSanto has been named the 2022 recipient of the SIA Committee Chair of the Year Award, which recognizes individuals for excellence in leading SIA committees and advancing member objectives.
The Security Industry Association (SIA), will present DiSanto with the award at The Advance, SIA’s annual membership meeting, which is scheduled to take place on March 22 during ISC West.
DiSanto was first introduced to SIA in 2014 and immediately became actively involved, becoming a founding member of the SIA Women in Security Forum Steering Committee and chair of the forum’s Charitable Giving Subcommittee.
SIA’s Women in Security Forum is a community that works to engage all security professionals to promote, recruit and cultivate women’s leadership for a more inclusive and diversified industry.
DiSanto has executive leadership experience with firms in the Fortune Global 500, four upstart companies, and a regional hospital. As a marketing, sales, and public relations professional, she has industry knowledge of automotive, security, technology, health care, direct marketing, and nonprofit.
Alice DiSanto has worked in the field of cutting-edge technology in roles with Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Sharp Electronics Corporation’s robotics division, and she currently serves as vice president of global marketing for Rajant Corporation, which was recognized with a 2021 Platinum ‘ASTORS’ Award for Best Wireless Video Surveillance Network, in the AST 2021 Homeland Security Awards Program.
DiSanto’s interviews and articles can be found across security trade and robotics publications, and she is a regular panelist and moderator for industry education sessions and webinars.

DiSanto graduated magna cum laude from Susquehanna University with a dual major in marketing and human resource management.
“Achievement has come by committee,” expressed DiSanto on her role overseeing the SIA Women in Security Forum’s charitable giving. “Together, the Women in Security Forum Charitable Giving Subcommittee strives to do ‘Good Works’ through demonstrative service of deeds and in-kind donations.”
“Giving is the pulse of this group, yet moreover, the heartbeat of the Security Industry Association. We are a network focused on safeguarding those around us. Through efforts like the CAN DO Challenge and Essentials 4 Job Security, servitude to our community comes through one-on-one acts of kindness.”
“To be recognized for leading all of you to help someone else is a gift beyond measure, and I am truly grateful,” continued DiSanto.
Under DiSanto’s charitable giving leadership, the SIA Women in Security Forum has presented annual efforts like the CAN DO Challenge, which inspires individuals to help overcome America’s unprecedented hunger issue by donating “cans” or “doing” acts like delivering or serving meals during the holiday season.
Another initiative held at ISC West is the Essentials 4 Job Security Giveback, in support of Dress for Success Southern Nevada offering acts of kindness and donations to help women trying to get back into the workforce feel more confident and self-assured as they take steps to improve their lives.
“Through her leadership of the SIA Women in Security Forum’s charitable initiatives, Alice DiSanto has galvanized many in the security industry to give back to the community and do good works with great impact throughout the United States,” added SIA CEO Don Erickson.
“SIA applauds Alice for her dedication to making a difference and fostering generosity among security professionals, and we look forward to recognizing her for her achievements at The Advance this year.”
Advance 2022 will take place during ISC West on Tuesday, March 22, at 10:30 a.m. PDT, in a special membership meeting, where attendees will review official association business, recognize volunteer achievements from the past year, and exchange market intelligence for the year ahead.
This year’s Advance 2022 event will feature a presentation from special guest speaker Matt Barnette, CEO of PSA Security Network, as well as presenting the SIA Committee Chair of the Year Award, and 2022 recipients of the SIA Chair’s Award, Member of the Year Award and Sandy Jones Volunteer of the Year Award.
