Allied Universal, Triple Recipient of 2017 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards, has teamed up with PlanetRisk to offer organizations an enterprise risk Software as a Service platform to stay informed of threats to their operation in real time.
The service will be offered as a stand-alone solution or as part of the Allied Universal Global Security Operations Center as a Service (GSOCaaS) product suite available in the company’s Monitoring and Response Center (MaRC), based in Richardson, Texas.

GSOC and GSOCaaS Capabilities
As important as the tools and technology used to provide the intelligence and awareness information aggregation, an organization’s Global Security Operations Center’s (GSOC) human assets and resources are as critical – if not more – to the analysis, reporting, and communication of critical events and managing all physical and operational information work flow.
Through Allied Universal’s MaRC, a focused recruiting operation provides specialized sourcing of GSOC operators and analysts that can be dedicated at a client’s location or reside inside the MaRC.
The MaRC provides a managed services model with GSOCaaS operators who can be dedicated or partial resourced, focused on pre-defined customer physical and/or operations, information analysis, alarm or event response and critical incident reporting.

- Real-time alerting
- Dedicated client dashboards relevant to asset types, locations and business risk profile
- Emergency incident support with dedicated custom scalable services, based upon needs
- Information management and event response of physical security information (PSIM) and operations information (OPSIM) products and technologies
PlanetRisk delivers actionable intelligence by accelerating the aggregation of global data to interpret connections between seemingly unconnected events.
On a real-time basis, PlanetRisk monitors all client assets (offices, facilities, manufacturing, supply chain, travelers, executives, vehicles, aircraft) and provides alerts and notifications when an event or incident occurs.
Using big data and analytics, the cloud-based platform identifies threat patterns and risk warnings relevant to clients’ business operations.
These early indicators provide customers the ability to create informed response mitigation plans.

The web-based CSX product, accessible anywhere, is supported through a custom dashboard compatible with desktop or mobile devices.
Allied Universal clients can have their systems monitored 24x7x365 via GSOC operators and analysts dedicated at the MaRC, a client’s site or PlanetRisk’s Global Intelligence Operations Center.
These resources are critical to the analysis, reporting, and communication of critical events as well as to managing all physical and operational information work flow.
Additionally, PlanetRisk recently signed a contract worth up to $79 million over five years to provide the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Cybersecurity and Communications with Program Management Support.
