Centrify, a leader in securing hybrid enterprises through the power of identity services, and Platinum Winner for Best Cyber Security for ID Mgmt & Access Control in the 2017 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards, is the only identity services provider to be recognized Only Security Provider Recognized Across Three Research Reports by Independent Research Firm.
Centrify has been recognized as a “Leader” by Forrester Research Inc., a leading industry analyst firm, in both the Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) Wave evaluations, and as a “Strong Performer” for Enterprise (EMM).
With the convergence of these three solution areas, Centrify proactively secures organizations’ businesses from the inside out.
Centrify was named a “Leader” in The Forrester Wave™: Privileged Identity Management, Q3 2016 report, a “Leader” in The Forrester Wave™: Identity-As-A-Service, Q4 2017 report, and a “Strong Performer” for Enterprise Mobility Management in The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Mobility Management, Q4 2017 report.

“With 80 percent of breaches involving privilege credential misuse and 81 percent of breaches involving weak, default or stolen passwords, the need to rethink security with a Zero Trust Security model has never been more critical,” said Bill Mann, chief product officer at Centrify.
“Centrify’s leadership and unique platform approach provides a Zero Trust Security model that verifies the user, verifies the device and limits access and privilege.”
Companies that develop approaches that closely scrutinize and secure both regular and privileged access — a unified approach — are more likely to say they have never been breached than those who adopt fewer identity and access management (IAM) best practices.
Best practices include consolidating identities, enabling single sign-on, implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA), enforcing least-privilege access and protecting the inside network.
In fact, according to a February 2017 commissioned study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Centrify, when enterprises implement identity best practices, the chance of a breach decreases by 50 percent and technology costs decrease by 40 percent.
Zero Trust Security Model Product Enhancements
To further its move towards a Zero Trust security model, Centrify has joined the FIDO (Fast IDentity Online) Alliance and strengthening its integration with Yubico.
Centrify Identity Services provides support for the FIDO Alliance’s Universal 2nd Factor (U2F) specification, an authentication standard designed to be open, secure, private and easy to use.
Centrify already leverages Yubico’s YubiKeys for PIV Compliant and OATH-based authentication, and is further strengthening the partnership with this new support for FIDO U2F authentication.

FIDO U2F certified authentication is recognized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as the highest Authenticator Assurance Level (AAL3) in the NIST Special Publication 800-63 Revision3.
“As co-creator of the FIDO U2F standard, Yubico believes that secure, easy-to-use and scalable authentication should be available to everyone,” said Jerrod Chong, VP of Product at Yubico.
“Centrify shares our mission to bring greater security and convenience to the enterprise.”
“By adding FIDO U2F support, Centrify has the most complete set of YubiKey integrations available from a technology partner.”
As enterprises move towards modern ephemeral architectures, Centrify is extending the reach of Zero Trust by continuing to build on its support for container-based ephemeral architectures.
Centrify Infrastructure Services is now the only privileged identity management vendor to offer host-based privilege controls for CoreOS Container Linux, the leading container operating system.
Centrify Infrastructure Services provides conditional access and least privilege control to CoreOS deployments.
As the only industry recognized leader in both Privileged Identity Management and Identity-as-a-Service, Centrify provides a single platform to secure each user’s access to apps and infrastructure through the power of identity services.
The Breach Stops Here.
