The globally respected semi-rugged laptop now features enhanced performance driven by Intel® 7th generation Core™ processors, updated graphics capabilities, and improved battery life.
Purpose-built to meet a wide variety of mobile worker environments, the upgraded device is ideal for customers in public safety, field service, military, utilities, government, vehicle service, and other markets requiring semi-rugged reliability.

Upgraded Performance
The updated DURABOOK SA14 R3 (Kaby Lake version) includes Intel 7th generation Core processors, delivering more computing power to mobile workers.
GammaTech will offer one i5 variant, the Intel Core i5-7200U (3MB cache, up to 3.1 GHz) and two i7 variants, the Intel Core i7-7500U (4MB cache, up to 3.5 GHz) and the Intel Core i7-7600U with vPro (4MB cache, up to 3.9 GHz).

The DURABOOK SA14 R3 features an optional sunlight readable HD (1366 x 768) LCD with optional resistive touchscreen, a stealth mode with optional night-vision setting, a quick release 500GB-1TB HDD or 128GB-1TB SSD, 8GB-32GB DDR4 RAM, and a 2.0-megapixel webcam.
The device also includes Intel® Dual Band Wireless AC8260 (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.2, Gobi 5000 LTE, a GPS module with built-in GPS antenna, Intel® vPro™, an integrated Smart Card Reader, TPM2.0 and a fingerprint scanner.
Best-in-Class IP Rating
The rugged DURABOOK SA14 R3 is MIL-STD-810G drop and vibration rated, making it the perfect notebook for use in a wide variety of semi-rugged applications, including those found in public safety, government, military, and field service.
The device also has a best-in-class IP53 rating, exceeding that of competitive products like the Panasonic Toughbook CF-54 (IP51), Getac S410 (IP52), and the Dell Latitude Rugged 14 (IP52).
SkyLake Platform
To meet the needs of government customers that are not ready to move to Windows 10, GammaTech continues to offer the DURABOOK SA14 R2 (SkyLake version), which features Intel 6th generation Sky Lake Core i5 (6200U) and i7 (6500U) 15W U series SoC processors with integrated Intel HD 520 graphics.
Availability
The DURABOOK S14 R3 will be available, starting at $1698, in late Q4 2017.
All DURABOOK rugged computers are available from authorized resellers and include a standard three-year warranty.
