Envistacom has unveiled its innovation center, enhancing the company’s communications and counterterrorism capabilities that support deployed warfighters and allied forces stationed in some of the most austere locations in the world.
Located in Duluth, Ga., the 25,000 square foot facility provides Envistacom customers innovative engineering and testing facilities for solutions in counterterrorism, cyber security and satellite communications.
Not only will the new facility bolster Envistacom’s support to the DoD and America’s warfighters with mission-critical technology, but the innovation center is also a demonstration of the company’s commitment to Georgia in its pursuit of cyber security and defense technology leadership.

“In addition to a world-class talent pool, Georgia boasts a number of new defense initiatives including the U.S. Cyber Command at Fort Gordon and the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center,” said Brian S. Smith, President of the National Defense Industry Association-GA Chapter.
“The Envistacom Innovation Center is a significant addition as Georgia continues to forge its path as a leader in the defense technology space.”
“I’ve enjoyed watching Envistacom grow over a short period of time, and the company has truly made a mark in our home state as well as within the industry at large.”
Less than a year after the company announced plans for the newly unveiled innovation center, Envistacom is already planning for significant increases to the facility’s footprint and is also actively recruiting dozens of highly-skilled positions to support all core capabilities.
And with recent contract wins representing up to $500 million in potential opportunities, the immediate success of Envistacom’s new center furthers the rapid expansion of one of Georgia’s fastest-growing companies that already boasts a presence in six U.S. states and 11 countries.
“The unveiling of the Envistacom Innovation Center represents positive progress toward our core purpose, to equip America’s warfighters with the capabilities they need to achieve mission success,” said Alan Carson, vice president, Envistacom.
“It’s an honor to support our DoD customers and its service members along with our coalition and mission partners in our shared vision of making the world a safer place, for everyone, everywhere.”
