Look Inside Tinted Glass
The combination of a high-resolution camera and powerful LEDs works to counteract heavily tinted windows and photograph whoever’s inside.
An array of LEDs are synchronized with the frame rate and light frequency of the camera in order to light up the inside of the vehicle at the precise moment the camera captures an image.
This method can capture an extremely high quality image through heavily tinted windows, ballistic glass, at night and even bright sun light glare.
Facial Recognition
The DriverCam system deploys a Gatekeeper camera capable of capturing such high quality images they are able to be used with facial recognition software to identify the driver and other detected faces within a vehicle.
This is possible even when the image is captured through heavily tinted glass or at night.
Connected databases can be accessed quickly to confirm drivers are who they should be.
