Liteye Systems, a world leader and technology solutions provider of military and commercial Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS), is proud to announce the company’s C-AUDS, (Containerized Anti-Unmanned Defense Systems) has been nominated to compete in the 2019 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards Program.
Countering the threat caused by rogue drones is now a global issue and an increasing concern for the military, government and homeland security forces across every continent.
To address these threats, C-AUDS, a containerized, multi-layered capability system to detect, track, identify, and defend against rogue drones, is Liteye’s newest offering in the counter unmanned defense market.
(The AUDS system combines electronic-scanning radar target detection, electro-optical (EO) tracking, classification and directional RF inhibition capability. AUDS is a smart-sensor and effector package capable of remotely detecting small UAS and then tracking and classifying them before providing the option to disrupt their activity. The system may be used in remote or urban areas to prevent UAS being used for terrorist attacks, espionage or other malicious activities against sites with critical infrastructure. C-AUDS is based on the combat proven technology first fielded in 2016 and was instrumental in defeating enemy drones in Iraq’s battle of Mosul, and Liteye has continuously been adding more systems to new locations in support of these ongoing efforts.
The C-AUDS containerized systems features a state-of-the-art operator suite, hardened for use in any climate.
It’s portability, and even more importantly its remote operation and networking capabilities provides for an operations center that can be scaled to meet multiple types of mission and location requirements.
The platform’s innovative design allows for the ability to “bolt on” new technologies in the future as threats evolve in field.
This provides the C-AUDS with almost unlimited ability to keep evolving to meet the threat.
In addition to Liteye’s Counter Unmanned Defense System), the company specializes in Drone Sense and Warn Systems, rugged, high-resolution, head mounted displays (HMD), micro imaging viewfinders, thermal surveillance systems, convert surveillance systems, electronic warfare packages, radar systems, and fire control software solutions.
Liteye’s Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS) Defense Technology combines electronic-scanning radar target detection, electro-optical (EO) tracking, classification and directional RF inhibition capability.
CUAS is a smart-sensor and effector package capable of remotely detecting small UAS and then tracking and classifying them before providing the option to disrupt their activity.
Their Anti-Drone products may be used in remote or urban areas to prevent UASs being used for terrorist attacks, espionage or other malicious activities against sites with critical infrastructure.
CUAS not only works to cover your airspace, but also as a ground surveillance system as well.
All brought together in USA by Liteye Systems, who integrates, installs, and trains operators out of their Colorado facility.
US Air Force has ordered over $42 million dollars worth of Liteye CUAS systems to date, and the company’s new commercial version is being integrated into airports, seaports, boarder facilities and other high valued critical infrastructure locations.
(The continued advances in unmanned aerial vehicle or drone technology, and it’s use for malicious activity, has profound implications for national security, military, border security, critical infrastructure, prisons, airports, commercial and civilian life. Liteye’s CUAS or Counter-UAS Air Defense products have been developed to answer the growing need for effective Anti-Drone solutions in this rapidly changing environment. “In addition, we are also very proud to announce that the C-AUDS systems are being managed and produced under Liteye’s ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System.”
“Our company completed its transition to the new 2015 version of the ISO standard earlier this year.”
“This not only demonstrates our long-term commitment to delivering the highest levels of quality and performance of products, but also it reflects our passion in achieving world-class project execution, on-time-delivery objectives and overall pursuit of excellence in customer satisfaction…”
(Additionally, M-AUDS (Mobile Anti-UAV Defense System also known as Mobile CUAS) counter-drone system has been enhanced for deployment on semi-portable containers and on a range of vehicles for quick deployment and to provide Detect-Track-Identify-Defeat capability against malicious drones. Additionally our engineers have developed a novel technique to more effectively defeat co-ordinated swarm attacks made up of mixed drone types approaching in complex mission scenarios. C-AUDS commercially available product can be easily customized for non-DoD C-UAS, surveillance, and other security needs to protect and defend sensitive installations, facilities, events, etc.
Liteye’s suite of Counter UAS products and integrated technologies continue to provide customers with best-in-class solutions to detect, track, identify, and defeat threats posed by malicious drone attacks.
