The LowCam VI108 UVIS is one of the lightest and most portable inspection ramps in the industry and was specifically commissioned by Advanced Detection’s partners in Russia to be a part of security checkpoints at FIFA World Cup 2018.

Mechanical Specialty, located in Greensboro, NC, was tasked with building the outside shells for Advanced Detection’s LowCam VI108 under vehicle inspection ramps that were bound for FIFA18.

Advanced Detection’s LowCam UVIS systems provide the following features:

  • Advanced composite imaging technology
  • Embedded License Plate Recognition (LPR)

The LowCam VI110’s advanced composite imaging technology creates the widest field-of-view of any UVIS.

Four strategically placed high definition cameras capture footage in real time to allow pause, playback and playback speed adjustment.

Security professionals achieve the highest level of viewing potential with these HD cameras in conjunction with embedded License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras, intelligent LED lighting, magnetic and LEDDAR sensors.

These tools enable the viewer to see up and around areas of an undercarriage that are out-of-view with stitch only scanning.

These composite images allow the inspector/viewer to see up and around areas that are otherwise out of view with single stitch images. Courtesy of Advanced Detection Technology and YouTube.)

The LowCam VI110’s light and durable frame permits rapid deployment anywhere/anytime.

Integrated LEDs and LPR cameras eliminate extra setup time for external equipment.

Weighing only 65 pounds, the entire system can be set up by one person in less than three minutes.

The LowCam VI110 records important historical data for future analysis, such as license plate numbers, vehicle alerts and traffic patterns.

The LPR system can access the historical database and load a comparative image, if available, from the vehicle’s most recent visit for analysis.

With a user-friendly icon-based operating platform, the VI110 deploys quickly and easily regardless of training level.

The LowCam VI110 is trusted in a variety of industries, which includes:
