Safariland, a recognized leader in the armor market, will introduce the Tactical Weapons Trunk Box from PROTECH Tactical® at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference in San Diego, October 15 – 18, Booth #1039.
This new product expands upon the robust line of offerings on display including racks, shields, helmets and equipment and the Shift 360™ armor with FirstSpear® Tubes™ technology.
PROTECH Tactical will showcase a new type IIIA ballistic shield design which is integrated into a long-arm weapons trunk box as the product lid.
Through a collaborative effort with LUND Industries, an established brand for emergency vehicles, the design of the Tactical Weapons Trunk Box enables officers to be armed and protected with a PROTECH Tactical shield within seconds.
Internally tested by a Safariland armor specialist, the shield lid stops various special threat and type IIIA rounds.

This innovative weapons storage unit provides a quick and fleet-friendly way to secure important duty-specific products in officer vehicles, such as long-arm weapons, helmets and plate racks.
Fitting in most patrol cars, the Tactical Weapons Trunk Box has an easily accessible opening in confined places and enables officers to lock down and securely protect their gear in patrol vehicles.
