Roshel Defence Solutions has unveiled its new Observation and Video Surveillance Armored Vehicle based on Toyota Land Cruiser V8 (J200).
The new armored vehicle has been specifically designed to provide border patrol and law enforcement agencies with observation, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities to facilitate their missions in various terrains.

The unit is equipped with radar and Electro-Optical System (EOS), thermal vision camera, stabilization and remote weapon system (RWS).
It includes a high power lightweight radar and Electro-Optical System (EOS) – the Blighter Revolutions 360 – to provide 360° scan without any dead zones.
The radar features a 20° wide elevation beam which offers excellent coverage across all types of terrain, including complex rocky and mountainous regions.
The system is able to detect a single walking person at distances of up to 7.4 km and a moving vehicle at 16 km.
Its innovative fully stabilized remote weapon system (RWS) provides advanced surveillance, observation and targeting capabilities in stationary or mobile conditions including effective engagement of moving targets.

In addition to system control, the console offers image processing and enhancement, improving target acquisition performance in stationary and mobile conditions at night and in the limited visibility areas.
Optionally, the vehicle can be equipped with other tactical systems such as color zoom cameras, laser range finders, cooled thermal imagers and others.
Additional equipment broadens the range of vehicle’s applications making it useful for metropolitan and hard to reach areas, higher risk borders and railway routes, bus and train stations, junction freight stations, stadiums and mass event locations, where the safety of persons and property is at potential risk.

The vehicle is armored in accordance with B6 protection level based on the European CEN standards providing protection from high powered rifles, including multiple impacts from 7.62 and 5.56 NATO ammunition, as well as, 7.62x39mm AK47 rounds.
Roshel utilizes light-weight composite materials in its vehicles, to provide reliable protection while maintaining high performance of the chassis.
The vehicle is equipped with reinforced brakes, suspension and other critical components to efficiently carry additional weight of the ballistic plates and equipment.
Roshel armored Toyota Land Cruiser has been tested and certified by leading European ballistic laboratories.
