Officer William Earl Collins Jr., who served as a part-time police officer with the Doyline Police Department, and a full-time correctional supervisor with the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office, was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance Friday evening. A subject in the home opened fire three deputies from the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office as they arrived on the scene. Officer Collins was struck in the head and was flown to Ochsner LSU Health where he succumbed to his wounds. (Courtesy of YouTube)
