ASSA ABLOY hollow metal door brands Ceco Door, Curries, and Fleming now offer Forced Entry Bullet Resistant Assemblies (FEBR), designed to resist an intense, prolonged attack by one or more intruders.

This door, frame and hardware assembly is intended for applications where the highest level of protection and durability is required.

It can repel a 15-minute mob attack and has level 8 bullet resistance, providing the utmost life-safety protection for occupants in the room.

Forced Entry Bullet Resistant Assemblies

The Forced Entry Bullet Resistant Assembly from Ceco Door combines ballistic and forced-entry resistance with advanced materials to provide an elevated threat protection solution compliant and third party tested per stringent Department of State Standard SD-STD-01.01 Rev. G (Amended).

The ASSA ABLOY FEBR assembly is tested to withstand 15 minutes of simulated “mob” attack and resistant to 5.56 M193, 5.56 M855 and 7.62 M80 ballistic rounds.

Forced Entry Bullet Resistant Assemblies safeguard mission critical buildings, executive offices, guard houses, control rooms, and anywhere the highest level of protection and durability are important considerations.

Standard features for 3’0″x7’0″ openings include:

  • UL752 Level 8 bullet resistant extra heavy duty door with continuous welded vertical edge seams
  • UL752 Level 8 bullet resistant fully-welded extra heavy duty frame
  • Factory-installed hardware for correct operation and functionality – FEBR 3-point locking exit device and Pemko stainless steel continuous hinge with security studs
  • Stainless steel threshold

The FEBR door assembly conforms to U.S. Department of State forced-entry and ballistic resistant threat levels plus antiterrorism level security and is offered with a five year factory warranty.
