Acoustic Technology Inc. (ATI Systems), a world leading provider of reliable emergency warning & mass notification systems (MNS), and a recipient of the 2020 Platinum ‘ASTORS’ Award for Best Mass Notification Siren System and a prestigious Platinum ‘ASTORS’ Award for Leadership & Innovation in Homeland Security, is pleased to announce the company’s mobile solutions for Giant Voice has been nominated in the 2021 ‘ASTORS’ Awards Program.
Natural disasters from major storms, devastating fires, dangerous flooding require immediate response by the government.
Emergency communication for disasters require rapid deployment of Giant Voice (GV) systems.
In addition, military operations require GV as part of their installation safety plan to cover large geographical areas to keep the base populace alert and informed.
It normally requires months to install a MNS of several GV field units, however, ATI Mobile Giant Voice can be deployed in a 24-hour period.
In order to meet specific requirements/applications, ATI has developed three possible Mobile Giant Voice solutions:
Mobile High Powered Speaker Station (MHPSS)
Look no further.
The Mobile High Powered Siren Station from ATI Systems is an ergonomic mobile siren trailer that allows Emergency Managers to deploy a reliable system in minutes.
Its sturdy, minimalistic, and efficient design allows for emergency staff to make anywhere an idea location for either live Public Announcements, Pre-recorded alerts or siren tone.
It is the go to solution for military field bases, interim facilities, event hosts, and endless other applications.
When it comes to crowd control, events and general community communications the MHPSS allows for users to setup and make alerts in moments notice.
MHPSS can also be modified to meet your specific site needs by their expert engineering staff.
ATI Systems’ Mobile High Powered Speaker Station (MHPSS) is offered in a traditional trailer option, providing intelligible voice notification.
This solution can be easily transported to and from different locations that require mass notification.
Transportable High Powered Speaker Station (THPSS)
An emergency can happen anywhere and when every second counts, the most effective area-wide warning is an intelligible voice message with information and instructions.
The Transportable High-Powered Speaker Station (THPSS) is a new product for outdoor situations that require the durability of a permanent solution, but also transportability for a temporary situation.
A wide area giant voice system utilizing the THPSS can be deployed in a matter of hours instead of the months required to construct a permanently installed system.
This provides a great communication system advantage for any geographically dynamic project such as military emergency operations, oil and gas exploration and national border security requirements.
Temporary permanent is the new normal in more and more situations today, and the THPSS is the answer to that that demand.
The THPSS is an easily portable and rapidly deployable solution for mass notification.
It provides 1600 Watts of continuous audio output power for reliable alert tone notification and delivery of pre-recorded messages in emergency situations or for public address.
The THPSS is designed for temporary usage including military installations, sporting events, large public gatherings, construction sites, and locations where a permanent mass notification system is not cost effective.
The THPSS includes four 400W speakers (with cases), an easy-to-setup 20-foot mast system, a 1600W transportable amplifier with built-in local operating console (TALOC), external battery cases, as well as all necessary audio and power cabling kits
These units have the rigid construction and weatherproof components required to withstand any type of weather and wind gusts, acting like a more permanent installation.
The THPSS is specially designed with a wide, heavy base keeps the mast and speaker array stable in bad weather. Each THPSS includes its own mast with rigging for guy-wire to securely fasten in place.
Ease of transport and rapid deployment were also major design considerations for the THPSS. Its unique design makes assembly much easier enabling installation to be completed within a few hours.
The external 12V 100AH batteries power that each unit only require a trickle charge from solar, AC or a generator to maintain the charge to power the sirens.
THPSS units can act as individuals or as part of a larger system. Each has a built-in touch screen to support individual activation and control from the base of the device itself.
ATI’s Transportable High Powered Speaker Station (THPSS) is a lower cost option than the traditional trailer MHPSS solution, and it can easily be assembled on any site.
THPSS can be used on a temporary basis, but for for a longer-term use, it can also be anchored to the ground and used as a fixed solution.
Deployable High Powered Speaker Stations (DHPSS)
The Deployable High Powered Speaker Stations (DHPSS) is a completely assembled unit on a pallet that can be transported, and no installation is required.
The DHPSS also can be anchored to the ground to be used as a permanent installation.
Each of the aforementioned solutions, the MHPSS, THPSS and DHSPS, provide 1600 watts of continuous audio output power for reliable alert tones notifications and delivery a pre-recorded message in emergency situations or for public address.
Additionally, the units all utilize a sturdy, non-corrosive NEMA-4/3R stainless steel enclosure cabinet to house all electrical components.
Furthermore, ATI Systems Local Control Unit (LOC) is utilized to control and activate the mobile unit, recommended for single unit cases.
A simple menu system includes the capabilities to view status feedback and diagnostics, initiate pre-recorded voice messages, and make live public address (PA) announcements using the attached microphone.
For multiple mobile units, ATI’s Mobile Central Control Unit (MCCU) can be used to activate individual, groups, or entire system of mobile units utilizing secure wireless communication.
The next-generation REACT5000M Mobile Central Control Unit provides portable control and monitoring of ATI remote units such as a HPSS or an ISU, and serves as a key component in the creation of a mobile, powerful, and flexible Mass Notification System (MNS).
An intuitive touch screen interface allows for the activation of tone alerts, recorded voice messages, or live PA, and displays the status of remote units.
It can be used in conjunction with ATI’s MassAlert® software for complete control of complex multi-location MNS applications, but may also be used as a standalone controller for smaller systems.
The REACT5000M supports simultaneous IP and radio communication paths to provide the most robust notification system available in a mobile unit.
Enhanced IP support provides improved connectivity and security, and the unit’s sturdy polypropylene case can tolerate the harshest operating environments.
Through acoustic design and modeling, the ATI Systems provides optimal sound coverage and superior voice intelligibility for both outdoor and indoor areas to ensure the safety of our clients worldwide.
ATI Systems is also a Returning Premier Sponsor for the Fifth Consecutive Year in the Annual ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards Program, as well as a 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017 ‘ASTORS’ Platinum Award Winner.
