Michael Breslin serves as the Director, Strategic Client Relationships, Public Safety for LexisNexis, where in this role, he supports the LexisNexis Federal Government team by managing and establishing the executive relationships across the Federal Government, especially among Federal Law Enforcement agencies.
Mr. Breslin provides strategic guidance in the development of strategic plans for the government marketing and sales team, as well as leads and supports the strategic relationships between the agencies and LexisNexis to position LexisNexis as a critical partner to the agency’s missions.

Mr. Breslin is a retired federal law enforcement senior executive with twenty-four years of law enforcement and homeland security experience. Most of his career was spent with the United States Secret Service (USSS), focusing on the integrated mission of investigations and protection. He served as the Deputy Assistant Director in the Office of Investigations with oversight of 162 domestic and foreign field offices.
Throughout his career, he initiated and managed high-profile transnational cyber and financial crime investigations. These cases included network intrusions and the theft of proprietary data from corporate, financial, and government institutions.
He has also developed highly effective security solutions which ensured the protection of U.S. and foreign dignitaries and facilities, including the President of the United States, the Vice President, and visiting heads of state
Mr. Breslin served as the Event Coordinator for the National Special Security Event Papal visit to Philadelphia in September 2015 and was appointed by the Secretary of Homeland Security to serve as the Federal Coordinator for the Papal Visit to the Mexico-U.S. Border in 2016.

Mr. Breslin is a member of the Senior Executive Service and is a published author of numerous articles on homeland security, defense, and threat mitigation methods.
Mr. Breslin serves on the Cyber Investigations Advisory Board of the U.S. Secret Service and is also a Board Member of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which was recognized in the 2019 ‘ASTORS’ Awards Program. He also serves on the Preparedness Leadership Council as well as the Domestic Preparedness Journal’s Editorial Advisory Board.

Mr. Breslin’s undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts from Saint John’s University, Queens, NY. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in National Security Strategy and a Graduate Certificate in Business Transformation and Decision Making from The Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and a Master of Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
In January 2015, he completed The Key Executive Leader Certificate program at American University’s School of Public Affairs. In August 2018, he was awarded a certificate of completion for the Cybersecurity: The Intersection of Policy and Technology Program, from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Executive Education.
