Quantum Technology Sciences, an intrusion detection solutions provider, and a 2016 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards Gold Winner for Best Perimeter Protection, has expanded the company’s channel partner initiative and the addition of security industry veteran Eric Mardian to head the effort.
Beginning in 2017, Quantum will grow its perimeter security market footprint across a wider range of vertical markets through enhanced relationships with new channel partners.
The expanded effort will include the addition of global integrators and global distributors as well as resellers targeting both domestic and international projects.
Additionally, the company plans to grow the number of technology partners with whom they’ve successfully integrated.

“The demand for layered security technology and significant market pull from well-respected firms across the globe requires us to increase resources dedicated to our channel partners,” says Caroline Kempf, V.P. of marketing and business development.
Quantum’s Vector series intrusion detection product line detects, classifies and tracks the location and type of intrusion to include pedestrians, vehicles and gunshots, not only at and within a security perimeter, but well beyond, out to a more extensive awareness perimeter.
An expanded awareness zone enables proactive security, where threats can be identified and more effectively deterred or neutralized before doing harm.
Prior to joining Quantum, Mardian played an integral role in the global video management software and hardware company Milestone’s distributor channel in North America.
His experience includes a tenure with global distributor Anixter where he headed the South Central region of the U.S. for their communication and security products.
Also, Mardian spent time in business development for such security industry leaders as Siemens Industry, Inc. and Simplex Grinnell.
“Eric is quite a find for Quantum. He brings not only a valuable depth of knowledge within the security industry, but a humble sincerity which reflects Quantum’s company culture,” says Kempf.
“We look forward to increasing our market footprint by expanding our channels to end users in 2017.”
