Teledyne FLIR, a world leader in intelligent sensing, unmanned systems, and integrated solutions for defense and industrial markets, and a Recognized ‘ASTORS’ Award Winner for Six Consecutive Years, is pleased to announce its new LVSS ADA C-UAS has been Nominated to compete in the 2022 ‘ASTORS’ Homeland Security Awards Program.

Introduced in March 2022, the Teledyne FLIR LVSS ADA C-UAS, is a new Lightweight Vehicle Surveillance System (LVSS) with revolutionary air domain awareness (ADA) and advanced counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) capabilities.

This new system is an enhanced addition to Teledyne FLIR’s field-proven LVSS platform that features reliable, rapidly deployable, cutting-edge technology to detect and mitigate the growing threat of small drones.

The LVSS ADA C-UAS leverages a powerful combination of 3D radar, EO/IR camera, and RF detection and mitigation sensors to provide early warning alerts and recognition, so threats are detected and displayed simultaneously, showing the position and elevation for all radar tracks.

Additionally, the LVSS ADA C-UAS also can detect drone swarms by allowing operators to monitor up to 500 radar targets simultaneously.

A multi-spectral imager captures key UAS elements that help identify high-risk targets for a pinpointed response.

The LVSS C-UAS adds proven Air Domain Awareness and Counter- UAS capabilities to the market-leading LVSS platform.

In addition to early warning alerts and detection, the LVSS C-UAS standalone, relocatable, and rapidly deployable system provides non-kinetic countermeasures for various UAS systems.
