Perimeter security experts Teledyne FLIR, the 2021 Platinum ‘ASTORS’ Award Winner for Best Chemical/Biological/Radiation/ Nuclear/Explosive (CBRNE) Detection Solution, debutted its new flagship security lineup for perimeter protection at ISC West 2022.
Security personnel can rely on Teledyne FLIR’s field-proven technologies for powerful performance in all weather conditions, with products that offer fast threat recognition and multi-layered security capabilities.
Attendees also had the opportunity to see their robust counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS), and a variety of industrial condition monitoring solutions firsthand.
(See how the Teledyne FLIR SkyRanger platform has been used to fight terrorism throughout the Middle East and Africa, monitor hostile borders, provide VIP security, and enhance site security for international conferences such as the G20 summit, royal weddings, and the 2016 Olympic Games. Focusing on robust designs and ease of use has enabled Teledyne FLIR UAS to be operated anywhere, providing support and aiding relief efforts throughout both polar Arctic regions, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Also launched at ISC West, attendees saw their new FLIR FH-Series cameras: two models of ruggedized, multispectral fixed cameras that pair 4K visible imaging with a thermal sensor offering industry-leading sensitivity.
The FH-Series ID features onboard FLIR Virtual Barrier convolutional neural network (CNN) analytics for intrusion detection and resilience against false alarms, while the FH-Series R is purpose-built for radiometric applications and early fire detection where temperature monitoring is critical.
(The FH-Series are ruggedized, multispectral fixed cameras that integrate industry-leading thermal imaging for detection with 4K visible imaging to help identify intruders in harsh perimeter security settings. Courtesy of Teledyne FLIR and YouTube.)
Also available was the new FLIR R-Series commercial ground-based radars, which also come in two models: the R-290 (compliant with United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guidelines) and the R-190 (Conformité Européenne (CE)-compliant for Europe).
R-Series radars can detect threats early, giving security managers the time they need to react to intrusion activity, adding a critical layer of security within a perimeter intrusion detection system, and complementing visible and thermal security cameras.
(A first for Teledyne FLIR, the Elara R-Series is the ideal commercial radar system for industrial commercial applications, increasing detection coverage, auto-tracking, dynamic mapping, and position intelligence of intruders. Courtesy of Teledyne FLIR and YouTube.)
“The Teledyne FLIR team is excited to introduce our next generation of perimeter and asset protection solutions,” explains Kai Moncino, the Director of Global Business Development for Security, at Teledyne FLIR.
“As threats continue to evolve, Teledyne FLIR is committed to helping our customers address them, on the ground and in the air.”
Teledyne FLIR showcased its C-UAS solution at ISC West, a platform that brings together FLIR military-grade radars, long-range cameras, and advanced management software as well as third-party radio frequency systems and effectors.
Also on display was their full suite of FLIR visible security cameras, the United Video Management System (VMS) platform, and industrial condition monitoring solutions for predictive/preventative maintenance for vital assets at data centers, substations, and other critical infrastructure sites.
Teledyne FLIR designs, develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes technologies that enhance perception and awareness. We bring innovative sensing solutions into daily life through our thermal imaging, visible-light imaging, video analytics, measurement and diagnostic, and advanced threat detection systems.
